Blue Carbon offsetting on the french coast
Project Activities
The key activity of the company will be to propose and implement both traditional and innovative protection measures. We propose three main activities: awareness raising, monitoring and restoration of seagrass beds. In addition to these measures, we are thinking of joining a partner project for the implementation of ecological anchoring systems. These activities will be partially or totally financed by carbon credits.

Carbon Finance & Certified carbon credits
The Low Carbon French Label establishes an innovative and transparent framework offering funding opportunities for local projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It thus makes it possible to support the ecological transition at the territorial level, by rewarding behavior that goes beyond standard practices.
The label is working on the creation of a new methodology for reducing greenhouse gas emissions through seagrass beds. BlueLeaf conservation is now participating in the development of this methodology as a member of the technical writing committee. The publication of this methodology is planned for 2022. Our feasibility study will take into account all specific aspects and proposes a project applicable to this low-carbon methodology.
